Suzanne Sullivan founded Sullivan Strategies (formerly known as SB Capitol Solutions), a government relations firm that provides public and private sector clients with strategic counsel and legislative assistance on transportation policy, infrastructure funding, and appropriations matters. As President, she manages a large portfolio that focuses on issues management, complex advocacy campaigns and coalition building. Suzanne has an extensive background in transportation policy formation and implementation. As part of her portfolio, Suzanne advises zero emission technologies, international infrastructure financing firms on transportation projects, and public sector infrastructure issues.
Devon Barnhart has 15 years of experience working on transportation policy, projects and legal issues. She was most recently the staff director of the Transportation and Safety Subcommittee for the U.S. Senate Commerce Committee, primarily working on infrastructure, rail, trucking, pipeline, and safety issues. She has also worked on transportation issues for several members of Congress and on engineering and legal issues for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. Devon graduated from Penn State Dickinson School of Law and has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Bucknell University.
Sara Haley is a Policy Analyst for Sullivan Strategies. She recently graduated from the George Washington University with a B.A. in Political Science and minors in both International Affairs and Organizational Sciences. Sara is extremely passionate about how the world networks and communicates. Before starting with the SBCS team last summer, Sara worked in internship roles including: a Business Development Associate at a financial technology research and advisory firm, and the Administrative Assistant to the President of the Nevada Resort Association. In her free time, Sara enjoys cooking, running, attending yoga and Zumba classes, and watching documentaries.
Sion Lee is a Policy Analyst for Sullivan Strategies. She recently graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in Political Science with High Distinction and High Honors. She has worked with SSDC for over a year as a policy intern and is especially interested in clean energy and sustainable public transportation. As a Queens native, public transportation has always been a huge part of her life. Outside of work, Sion likes to follow her creative side: she can be found either cooking kimchi stew or producing music that no one else will listen to.
